Mill Creek Entertainment Image

Have you heard of Mill Creek Entertainment before? If you like movies like my family does, I bet you will be interested in this company. Watching movies is a great way to get together for family time and have some popcorn!
Mill Creek Entertainment is the industry's leading provider of value-priced DVD and Blu-Ray features and compilations.

Growing up I remember watching old movies on television that you don't see these days. That was before cable was around or even DVDs.

I love the classic movies and stars of those days. The movie stars were so glamorous and sophisticated with a sense of awe to them. I also loved watching old horror movies and remember being a little frightened when I was a little girl but not so frightened that I still wanted to watch them! It was a good kind of scary, more entertaining.

Mill Creek Entertainment is the place to get a wonderful set of Horror Classics Movies, among many other genres of movies.

They have something for every genre.....such as children, family, mysteries, westerns, television, sci-fi, history, comedy, educational, musicals, action and lots more.

NOYA LIP BALM - REVIEW

Disclosure: I have received complimentary products to review and all opinions are my own.

NOYA LIP BALM - REVIEW

I'm the type of girl who uses lip balm every day. The winter air dries out my lips and the summer heat and sun does the same to my lips.

I like to keep my lips moisturized and have tried quite a few different products before. Some are okay and some aren't very good at all.

Well, I have found a wonderful company called Noya that you should know about!

Noya makes all natural lip balms and I got to sample all four of their lip balms - Vanilla, Cherry, Spearmint, and Classic.

First, Noya Lip Balms come in an attractive little box. Very cute!

These Lip Balms glide on your lips and are not sticky or tacky like some others I have tried before. Noya Lip Balms only contain a few all-natural and kosher ingredients.

They really make your lips feel moisturized, smooth and wonderful!

The Spearmint was the first one I tried and it is a yummy minty scent. I really like it and can smell the fresh mint on my lips!  The Spearmint contains coconut oil, beeswax, organic extra virgin olive oil, spearmint oil, menthol, and organic stevia.

The Cherry is a very real cherry scent and is so good and true. I normally don't like cherry flavors but this one is great just like real cherries. This one also contains coconut oil, beeswax, organic extra virgin olive oil, natural flavor, and organic stevia.

The Vanilla has a delicious sweet scent just like you are baking with vanilla extract and is delectable!  It contains coconut oil, beeswax, organic extra virgin olive oil, natural flavor, and organic stevia.

The Classic is so pure and natural and is great when you don't want a flavored lip balm. Their Classic Balm contains organic extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, beeswax, and organic stevia.

These lip balms retail for $3.99 on the Noya website which is a great value for these. I am so happy to have found Noya Lip Balms and can honestly say that they are now on the top of my list for lip balms. They are safe to reapply as often as you want also.

The customer service is so nice and friendly which means a lot to me too. I received my package so quickly and very securely.

Thank you Noya for the opportunity to try your products!

I Got Out!

I Got Out!

We've had a very cold and snowy winter this season and I haven't been out of our little town since Wednesday. Just to let you know, there is not much to do if you don't have any stores to go to. Well, we do have a small grocery store, churches and a couple of restaurants. Oh yes, a couple of gas stations also. Can you tell, I'm getting stir crazy (or whatever you call it).

The roads have been very treacherous and icy so I didn't want to take a chance and get in an accident, but today I ventured out of town and it wasn't too bad. My husband didn't want to go so I took my mother who is 85 years old. I think she was ready to get out of the house also. She loves to go away for a ride.

Mom fell down twice on the ice this winter already so now I really watch her and she's been using a walker to be more safe. We had a nice lunch at the Cracker Barrel, sitting next to the fireplace. Then we headed to Meijer so she could shop on the amigo. My mom makes me laugh and has a very good sense of humor. You would have to know her to appreciate her personality. She'll talk to anybody in the store, and starts up a conversation with strangers. One time she knocked down a display of oranges and started laughing and drove away!

She was driving around in the amigo shopping, stopped by the donuts (which she loves), and asked a guy if he would put some donuts in a bag for her. Yea, the guy put some donuts in a bag for her then. Mom is very sharp for her age and is like a friend to me. We live two houses from each other and I'm in touch with her every day.

We got all our groceries bought and headed back home. It was a nice afternoon and I think we both appreciated getting out of the house.

GIVEAWAY - Purex Crystals Fresh Mountain Breeze

Disclosure: I received sample of product to facilitate my review. All opinions are my own and yours may differ.

GIVEAWAY - Purex Crystals Fresh Mountain Breeze

I love the scent of fresh laundered clothes, especially when I'm using my Purex Crystals! Now Purex has come up with a brand new scent of Crystals called Fresh Mountain Breeze.

Purex Crystals is so easy to use if you haven't had the chance to try it before. All you do is fill the cap that is provided on the top of the container and add directly with your laundry, along with your laundry detergent. The cap has lines inside to measure if you have a small, medium, or large load.

Thanks to Purex I recently got to try this amazing new scent - Fresh Mountain Breeze. Well, the first thing I did when I received the package was to open the bottle of Purex Crystals and take a few whiffs! Mmm! It smells so fresh and clean!

I can't tell you how much I like this new scent! It is so really great smelling and is just the right amount of fragrance, not over-powering but just perfect for me. It reminds me of a beautiful bouquet of flowers. I also like that this product is a Natural Formula and is 90% Natural, as stated on the bottle.

Your laundry stays fresh for not only days but even weeks, using Purex Crystals! It is also safe for all types of laundry, including your towels, activewear, and even your children's sleepwear. Thanks to Purex, this is going to be my new laundry enhancer and I'll be using it regularly.

Stamp Increase

Stamp Increase

Just a reminder that if you want to get some stamps before the price goes up January 26th (Sunday), you might want to go to the post office tomorrow. First class letters will increase by three cents - from 46 cents to 49 cents. It seems like postage rates just went up, but here we go again!

There are many other changes for postage and shipping at the USPS that you might want to check out also. I've been selling a few things on eBay recently so this will hurt shipping prices also.

Spring Thinking!

Spring Thinking!

I know we are in the middle of winter yet and it's cold and snowy outside but my thoughts have turned to Spring. Winter usually doesn't bother me very much because I'm not really an outdoor girl....but I was thinking of my flowers today and all the beautiful colors.

This Spring I hope to have more flowers and take lots of pictures. They are so easy to grow and give you lots of enjoyment just to look at them, every time you go outside! All of these flowers I planted myself from small plants. You can do it too, even if you have never done it before. All you have to do is have a small area where you want to plant some flowers.

Visitors In Our Back Yard

Visitors In Our Back Yard

Last summer we had a crop of corn in the field behind our home. There is a little piece of woods beyond that and there are deer who reside there. Occasionally they come out to look for some leftover corn laying in the field. Today there were nine deer right out of our back window.

My husband said they are just about like pets. Only thing they run away when they see you. I guess they have to eat too! Of course, there are an abundance of them here in Michigan.

Fear of Dentists

Fear of Dentists

I have a terrible fear of going to the dentist. Years ago it didn't really bother me so much but the last years I get very panicky and dread it. I still go because I want to take care of my teeth but it's something that I think about until the day comes. I'm not sure why I get like this but I did have a bad experience from my previous dentist so that might add to it. I'd rather go to the doctor than the dentist. Of course I don't like going to a doctor either. I even get nervous when they take my blood pressure.

Well, today I had an appointment to get my teeth cleaned. I've been thinking about it for a couple of weeks and today was the day. I wasn't bad when I got my teeth cleaned but there is something about the dentist that I get anxiety about. He is a very nice man but I guess it's just my phobia.

Well, I can tell you I made it and luckily don't have any cavities (big sigh of relief)! Now I can wait another 6 months till I go back again. Do you have a fear of the dentist or doctor? I would love to hear your comments!
