My New Favorite Kitchen Gadget - Ozeri Dual Speed Milk Frother!

I've always been wanting to get a frother but just never got one, so was excited to review the Ozeri Dual Speed Milk Frother. This amazing little gadget can be used for cappuccinos, frappes, lattes and many other drinks. I'm one to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate or cappuccino in the cold winter months so this came just in time! It snowed a couple of days ago and winter has set in.....now it's time to warm up and relax with a hot foamy drink. 

The Ozeri Milk Frother comes included with 2 AA batteries and are easily accessible by sliding off the battery lid compartment. The frother looks very attractive and is sleekly designed, which is made of brushed stainless steel. It has a powerful dual speed and the motor spins at over 20,000 RPMs.

Along with your frother you get four attachments which include 2 milk frothing whisks, 1 egg beater, and 1 cocktail mixer. You can use the hand egg beater for so many recipes in the kitchen such as for making sauces, dressings, whisking eggs and making dressings. I can see myself using it to make gravy for mashed potatoes and also for making scrambled eggs. Sounds so much easier than doing it by hand. It also includes a propeller-shaped attachment which can be used for mixing those fun cocktails when you have a gathering of family or friends.

Being so small, I was really impressed at how powerful the Ozeri frother is. I've used it for frothing my hot chocolate and love how it foams it up so quickly....in seconds! The stand that comes with the set is attractive which doesn't take up much room on your counter-top. Or it can easily be stored in a small drawer or cabinet.

I'm very happy with my new Ozeri Dual Speed Milk Frother and can't believe how I've been without one before. It's so much fun to use and is going to be used so much from now on!

I love to make stir-fry vegetables and salads since I'm always watching my calorie intake. When you get middle-aged you can't eat whatever you want like a younger person. I've been eating more healthy the last while and want to continue to do so.

Unique and functional kitchen gadgets that make cooking easier are a must in my household. Recently I had the opportunity to try out a great little item which is the Retseliney Vegetable Spiral Slicer.

This is a high quality product which is made of heat treated stainless steel. It includes two high class Japanese razor sharp blades that never lose their sharpness or ever rust. It is also built from BPA free ABS plastic.

Along with the spiral slicer I received a recipe booklet, jar opener and cleaning brush which are nice little bonuses. I love the little brush which works so nicely to get those little slivers of veggies cleaned out of the slicer.

This is such a great item that is so easy to use. All you do is insert your vegetable into the slicer cone area. Then twist the same way you sharpen a pencil.You can create long and curly strands of veggies which look so appealing and delicious.

I've used it for shredding carrots so far and am very satisfied with the results. They turned out so nice in thin strips. I know I'm going to be using this awesome kitchen gadget a lot from now on! It doesn't take up much room at all and can easily be stored in a kitchen cabinet or drawer. To clean all I do is rinse with water. It is also dishwasher safe too!

Have you ever used a garlic press? I remember when I used to peel garlic and cut it with a knife in little bits. It's a pain and so time consuming too! You get your hands stinky and it's hard to handle a little clove of garlic.

We use a lot of garlic in our family and like fresh garlic....not the stuff you buy in those jars that is already packaged with who knows what. This is a fine quality kitchen tool set that I was excited to try. The Garlic Press is made of solid stainless steel so you don't have to worry about it ever rusting. It is a very beautiful looking kitchen gadget which even comes in a fancy and elegant looking gift box!

It is so easy to use this Garlic Press. All you do is put a clove of garlic in the chamber and squeeze the handles together. It is ergonomically designed so it takes little effort to use. Out comes perfectly minced garlic for all of your dishes.You can use peeled or unpeeled garlic in the press. If you use unpeeled garlic it takes a bit more force to squeeze the Garlic Press. 

I only put one clove in the basket but if they are very small I've put up to three of them in. Also, if you use an unpeeled clove of garlic you have to scrape the peeling out of the basket, which is no big deal to me.

Along with the Garlic Press I received a Peeler which is made of premium silicone. To use all you do is insert a clove of garlic and roll the tube back and forth. This is a handy device which gets the skin off the garlic. 



I had never tried one of these before. It gets the  skin off pretty well after a few rolls.



 Both of these...the garlic press and silicone roller are dishwasher safe.

All in all this is a very nice set and it would be a great gift for the cook or chef in your life. I'm sure they would be more than happy to get a beautiful gift like this. Do you like tuna but hate to take off the lids because you get the tuna smell all over your hands? I know it can be a nuisance to open the can and then you have to touch the lid to take it off. You end up with tuna smelling hands! Yech!

Well, I know a great new gadget that will solve this problem! I recently got to try out a product that is pretty neat....called Tuna Squish!

This is a unique kitchen gadget is shaped like a fish and is very easy to use. Firstly you have to open the can of tuna with a can opener. Then you place the opened can into the Tuna Squish. 

Squeeze the handles and turn the can sideways to drain the liquid off. Separate the handles and the magnet in the upper handle will lift the lid off your can. Then you press the release button and you can just drop the lid off in your trash.

I really like the Tuna Squish. I'm always digging the lid out of the the tuna can with a fork after I open a can of tuna. I have in the past cut my fingers from the sharp lid a few times by doing this. By using the Tuna Squish I won't have to worry about this problem any more. Plus my hands won't smell like tuna!

It is also nice to easily get all the liquid off by using this unique product. Sometimes you don't get all the liquid off the tuna by doing it by hand. With the Tuna Squish you squeeze all the liquid out and the tuna is much nicer and dryer for whatever you want to use it for.

The Tuna Squish is going to be very handy when I open a can of tuna to make a tuna sandwich, tuna salad, and tuna noodle casserole. Watch the short video below to see how easy it is to use!
