Awesome Box of OGX Hair Products I Received! ~ #Review #OGX

Disclosure: Gloria's Bits and Pieces received free products for review purposes and all opinions expressed here are my own.

I have tried a variety of OGX hair products in the past and can honestly say that they are products that I use because they make my hair looking better and I like the way they all smell so good, like you're on an exotic island vacation.  They have so many options and types that you'll be sure to find some favorites to choose from.

This time I received a surprise package with some amazing OGX products including Orchid Oil Shampoo, Orchid Oil Conditioner, Lavender Luminescent Platinum Penetrating Oil, and Shea Soft & Smooth Creamy Hair Butter.

Since I get my hair high-lighted regularly and blow dry it daily, my hair does get drier. Also, being in the summer sun this time of year can damage hair from those UV rays. OGX products are just the thing to help me out with this problem.

Starting with the Orchid Oil Shampoo, this comes in a nice 13 fl. oz. size with a very appealing scent of fresh orchids. It is a pretty light pink color and includes orchid extract and grape seed oil. These ingredients help to keep my color treated hair from fading keep it moisturized and protect it from the UV rays. My hair feels squeaky clean after washing my hair with it.

The Orchid Oil Conditioner also comes in a 13 fl. oz. size and as the shampoo, it smells like lovely fresh orchids. It consists of a creamy white texture and, as the Orchid Oil Shampoo includes orchid extract and grape seed oil. After washing my hair I only use a small amount on my shorter hair. Then distribute through to the ends and let it set a few minutes, and rinse thoroughly. My hair felt smooth and renewed after using it. My daughter also used both the shampoo and conditioner and loved how it made her hair look so much smoother and nice.

I love the fragrance of lavender and the Lavender Luminescent Platinum Penetrating Oil smells just like a field of fresh lavender on a sunny day! It comes in a 3.3 fl. oz. flip top bottle and you only need a tiny amount (even less on my shorter hair). Then I thoroughly distributed it through my hair, making sure to get to the roots. Mmm, my hair was smelling so good!

Last but not least the Shea Soft & Smooth Creamy Hair Butter comes in a 6.6 oz. screw off container. When I opened it to see how it smelled I was wowed over! It smells so good with the light coconut and shea butter scent! You can use this product after shampooing and then rinsing after leaving it in your hair for a few minutes. In addition you can use it on damp hair and just style your hair as usual. This would be a great idea for tangly hair to make it smooth and manageable. On top of that, you can even use this product as a moisturizer on your body to make it touchably soft.

OGX products have their own website if you would like to check it out, which I think you will! They have so many other products that will make your hair looking it's very best!

OGX NEW Extra Strength Damage Remedy + Coconut Miracle Oil Collection #Rockwhatyougot #Review

OGX NEW Extra Strength Damage Remedy + Coconut Miracle Oil Collection

Spring has sprung and the grass is getting greener, the sun is shining and everyone wants to get outdoors after the long, cold winter! My purple crocuses have popped up about a week ago so that's always a beautiful sign of revival.

It's also time to get my hair looking more healthy. The inside, dry air can make hair lifeless and highlighting every other month doesn't help it either. Maybe some of you know what I mean. You need something to get your locks looking more lovely and sassy.

When I got a box of goodies from OGXBeauty it was exciting and just in time to revive my hair and get rid of the blahs. How did they know what I needed to help me out? Thanks OGXBeauty!

I immediately opened the box found a beautiful collection - OGX New Extra Strength Damage Remedy + Coconut Miracle Oil Collection! It was all packaged with pretty pink paper curls and also included some cute hair coils which I'm giving to my daughter to use.

If you've never tried OGX before they have hair products for your specific needs or preference. Everything from Cherry Blossom to Sea Mineral Moisture, and so much more! I've tried a number of their varieties in the past and can say that they are quality products.

Back to the box I received.....Extra Strength Damage Remedy + Coconut Miracle Oil Collection. Yeah, it's a mouthful to say but I can see why because it does so much good for your hair. I had to flip the cap to get a lovely sniff of the products - which reminded me of being on an exotic island somewhere far away with coconut trees. Aah, well I can dream can't I?

This morning I tried out the shampoo and conditioner. These two bottles are exactly the same size which hold 13 fl. oz. and it's a thick, rich creamy texture. They include coconut oil, essence of tiare and vanilla bean extract which help to repair and soften damaged hair. It's so rich and I only have to use a small dab of each because of my short hairstyle. It felt good on my hair and made it feel smoother and thoroughly clean.

Afterwards, I put a dab of the conditioner on my hair and thoroughly distributed it through my hair, from the roots to the ends. I left it on a couple minutes and rinsed it out. Oh, by the way, this smelled just as luscious and fragrant as the shampoo. I was still on my imaginary exotic island. I rinsed it out and towel dried by hair.

Then I put the tiniest drop of the penetrating oil (which comes in a 3.3 fl. oz. size) on my damp hair and worked it into my hair with my fingers. If you have longer hair you probably want to use a bit more. You can judge for yourself how much you need.

Like I said, my hair is short so I didn't need much at all. After blo-drying my hair I styled it as usual and was very happy with how my hair looked healthier and not as dry as it was before. I feel like my hair is ready for Spring!

#1 Best Deep 100% Organic Conditioner by Keeva ~ #Review #keeva

#1 Best Deep 100% Organic Conditioner by Keeva

Disclosure: I received free product for review purposes and all opinions expressed here are my own.

I recently received the Keeva Organic Conditioner which is 100% organic and includes tea tree oil, argan oil and coconut oil. It doesn't contain any nasty chemicals or parabens at all. When I received this product it came in packaged securely in a bag to prevent any possible leakage plus boxed, which I appreciated. First of all, I couldn't believe how big of a bottle this conditioner came in which is a very large size. It comes with a nice pump dispenser which is so easy to use also. Actually it has a lock on it which is nice so you don't have to worry about it spilling or leaking. I didn't know you had to remove it first to use it but finally figured it out. You just remove the black piece in the middle.

The Keeva Conditioner is good for moisturizing damaged, dry, curly and color treated hair. I actually got my hair highlighted last week so could not wait to try out this conditioner and see how it would work on my hair. I've never used a hair product that included tea tree oil, argan oil and coconut oil in the past so this was a new thing for me. In the past some conditioners have made my hair more oily looking so I haven't used many of them lately.

This conditioner is so wonderfully thick and creamy in texture. I have used tea tree oil in the past and don't like the smell of it; so thought I might not like the smell of this conditioner. It was a pleasant surprise at how nice this product smelled. I could detect the coconut scent in it and it smelled clean and fresh.

After washing my hair I just used a pump of the conditioner and left it in my hair for a couple of minutes before rinsing. I could feel how smooth my hair felt right away. Then I blow dried my hair and styled as usual. My hair looked great without leaving it with a greasy or oily residue. I also noticed that my hair was not as dry and more moisturized than before. I'm really happy with the Keeva Organic Conditioner and will definitely continue to use it.

OGX Quenching Coconut Curls Hair Collection ~ #OGX #Review

Disclosure: I received free products for review purposes. However, all opinions expressed here are my own.

OGX Quenching Coconut Curls for Hair Collection

Have you tried OGX hair products before? If you haven't you really should try them out. They have wonderful products for the hair that you'll be sure to find your perfect fit. Their products smell tantalizing with tempting scents that make you feel like you're on an exotic island.

The OGX Quenching Coconut Curls collection arrived at my door recently so I couldn't wait to try them out. The collection included shampoo, conditioner, moisture mousse, and hair butter. First of all I had to smell them individually to see how they were...of course. This collection is incredible with a unique blend of coconut oil, sweet honey and citrus oil. It really does remind me of an island vacation and is so invting to the senses.

The OGX Coconut Curls Shampoo has a flip-top cap and is a thick rich shampoo which gently cleanses my hair. It comes in a 13 ounce size bottle with an attractive design. My hair gets lots of high-lights that tends to dry out my hair. Plus the winter months are still here and the inside heat plus frigid temperatures outdoors wreak havoc on my hair. Since I have pretty short hair I only needed a small amount to thoroughly cleanse my hair leaving it hydrated and healthy. My hair happens to be wavy but not overly curly and it gave my hair a nice lift.

As the Shampoo, the OGX Coconut Curls Conditioner comes in a flip-top bottle and is a 13 ounce size with the same bottle design. I only have to use a dime sized amount to my hair because of my short hair and thoroughly distribute it to the ends, then rinse clean. It felt luxuourious pampering myself with the tantalizing smells of these products. My hair felt more soft and nourished, without leaving it oily like some conditioners I have used in the past. It would be great for long curly hair to reduce frizz and flyaways too.

The OGX Coconut Curls Moisture Mousse comes in an 8 fluid ounce pump dispenser container which is so easy to use. After using the first two products I towel dried my hair. Then applied a squirt to my palms and thoroughly worked it through from the roots to the ends. It comes out something like a foam. Afterwards, I blow-dried my hair as usual. Voila! My hair was really smelling and looking sassy!

Last but not least the OGX Coconut Curls Hair Butter comes in a 6.6 ounce jar with a screw top lid. This is thick rich product that looks like whipped cream to me. This product can be left in your hair for even more moisture or rinse it off to get more conditioning. I just took a very small dab and rubbed it together with my palms, then gently distributed it through my dry hair. It left my hair with a nice healthly looking finish. Make sure you use sparingly to begin with, otherwise it may be too much for your style.  If you're hair is long and curly I think this would be great for softening your locks.

All in all I'm very please with the OGX Quenching Coconut Curls hair collection. They smell amazing and will work wonders on your hair.

Manageable Hair With #SoCozy Cinch Kids Hair Collection

Manageable Hair With #SoCozy Cinch Kids Hair Collection

Disclosure: I received complimentary samples in exchange for a product review. However, all opinions expressed herein are my own.

Have you heard of SoCozy hair products for kids? If not, you should really check out their products. They are an awesome company which was founded by a woman named Cozy Friedman. She was the founder of the first children's hair salons in New York City and has over 20 years of experience regarding kids' hair.

You'll be happy to know that SoCozy products do not include any harmful ingredients such as parabens, sulfates, phthalates, propylene glycol, synthetic color or formaldehyde. Additionally, they are free of gluten, wheat and nuts. They are safe and completely non-toxic so you don't have to worry about any nasty stuff in their products. SoCozy products are for kids with any hair type, which is great in that you don't need a specific hair type to use their products.

I recently had the pleasure to try out 3 products from the SoCozy Cinch collection which came in a sturdy box and delivered in great condition. The products that I received included the following:

 3 in 1 Shampoo + Condition + Body Wash
Detangler + Leave-In Conditioner
Behave Styling Mousse Medium Hold

First of all the 3 in 1 Shampoo + Condition + Body Wash comes in a 10.5 fl. oz. flip top container which is so easy to dispense. It has a delightful fruity scent of mango which smells awesome that kids (and moms) love! It lathers up nicely and you can even use it in your tub for a bubbly bath. My kids are actually not little any more, but they loved how this product made their hair smell so good. It also good for making hair shiny and nourished.

Next on the list was the Detangler + Leave-In Conditioner which comes in an 8 fl. oz. pump dispenser. The scent is called "fruity-tutti" which is a combination scent of pineapple and peach, mingled with ripe melon and berry. If that's not enough, fragrant jasmine and creamy vanilla is incorporated in it also. This smells amazing with just the right amount of fragrance! To use all you do is spray on damp or dry hair and comb through. It's recommended to comb from the bottom to top of hair for best results. My boys like this product and how easy it is to use. It makes their hair more soft and smooth. It would be great if your child has lots of tangles and knots.

Last on the list was the Behave Styling Mousse Medium Hold which has a fresh peach and nectarine scent, along with mild musk and blooming jasmine. It comes in a 6 fl. oz. container that has a pump dispenser. To use all you do is apply a small amount and distribute it into your hair, making sure to go from the roots to the ends. It makes those fly-aways tame down and helps to boost the volume. It helps makes the kids' hair more manageable and smooths their hair for unwanted frizziness.

We were pleased the SoCozy Cinch Kids Hair Collection and how nicely they work. For holiday gift giving SoCozy has a holiday gift set which would be great for anybody on your shopping list!

Volumize Your Hair with #Proganix Volume Collection ~ #Review

Volumize Your Hair with #Proganix Volume Collection ~ #Review

Disclosure: I received free products in exchange for review purposes. However, all opinions expressed here are my own and yours may differ.

I was recently surprised to be gifted with a beautiful package from Proganix. It was like getting an early Christmas gift and included the Proganix Volume Collection for your hair needs. The package was wrapped in cellophane and had a pretty snowflake ornament attached which fit so perfectly with the season! Additionally included was a cute and chic genuine stone necklace which is so sparkly and will be great for the holiday season.

All of the products are created with soy protein and caffeine, which help to give your hair body and volume. The first thing I did was smell the products and I liked the clean fresh scent which was light, but very appealing.

The collection included Shampoo, Conditioner, Amplify Gel and Root Boost Finish + Body Builder.

My hair has been rather flat and lifeless lately, which I don't really like at all. Who does, right? As most women, I like my hair to look it's best and love trying out different products. When you have volume in your hair, I think it makes your hairstyle look so much better. So I couldn't wait to try out these products!

First of all, I tried the Volume Shampoo which comes in a huge 8.5 fl. oz. flip-top tube which is so easy to use. The shampoo is rich and creamy which lathers up nicely and rinses squeaky clean. After the shampoo, I applied a dab of the Volume Conditioner which also comes in an 8.5 fl. oz. tube with a flip top. Complying with the directions, I let the product work in my hair for about 3 to 5 minutes after massaging it thoroughly through the ends. Then rinsed it and towel dried as usual.

Next in line was the Volume Root Boost Finish + Body Builder which comes in a 5.1 fl. oz. container with a spray on nozzle. This spritzes on easily and I applied it to my damp hair, thoroughly making sure to get to the roots. Then I blow dried my hair and styled it as I usually do. The volume was really looking great and my hair looked so much fuller than it usually has been.

To finish off my hair, I used the Proganix Amplify Gel which comes in a 4 fl. oz. flip top cap. The word "amplify" really describes this product well! I squeezed a small amount in my hands and rubbed them together, then distributed it into my hair, making sure to get down to the roots. It really magnified my strands of hair and made my style look so much better than usual.

I'm very happy with the Proganix Volume Collection! Their products work wonders for my hair to make it look so much nicer and fuller!

Vibrant Hair With #Proganix Anti-Fade Hair Care

Disclosure: I received free samples in exchange for review purposes. However, all opinions expressed here are my own and yours may differ.

I was recently excited to be gifted with a beautiful pink basket of products for my hair from Proganix!

 Included was:
Proganix anti-fade shampoo with antioxidant + uv protection
Proganix anti-fade conditioner with antioxidant + uv protection
Proganix anti-fade weightless argan oil + uv protection
Plus some other great hair jewelry and goodies

All of the bottles (shampoo, conditioner and argan oil) have a shiny pink label which really attracted my attention right away. They also have a wonderful scent which is so appealing! I learned from Proganix that this line includes cherry blossom extract and UV filters. Since the products are called anti-fade this is perfect for me since I highlight my hair regularly. When you get your hair colored you want it to last and stay protected from the elements.

Washing my hair was fun using the Proganix anti-fade shampoo. It comes in a huge 8.5 tube size and is easy to use with the flip-top cap. It only takes a small amount for me since my hair isn't real long but on the shorter side. The shampoo is thicker and rich! It lathers up nicely and rinses out thoroughly with the lovely fragrance.

After washing my hair I added a small dab of the Proganix anti-fade conditioner to my hair which smelled as good as the shampoo. Like the shampoo, the conditioner comes in an 8.5 oz. tube with a flip-top cap. I worked the creamy conditioner through my hair, making sure to go to the ends. Then waited a few minutes before rinsing and towel dried my hair. I could feel how smooth and silky my hair was feeling already.

After towel drying my hair I was on to the Proganix weightless argan oil. This comes in a 3.3 fl. oz. pump dispenser container which is easy to mist on your hair. I spritzed it evenly over my hair and then blow dried it as usual. It doesn't weigh my hair down, but leaves my hair silky smooth with no fly-aways to deal with.

I'm very pleased with how these products have worked on making my hair look and feel vibrant and conditioned! Along with the amazing shampoo, conditioner and weightless argan oil, I received some beautiful hair accessories. These included a Kitch hair chain, bun pin, hair ties, hair clip, and head wrap. I'm planning on giving these to my daughter for a gift. She has long hair and will love using these awesome items!

A big thanks goes out to the folks at Proganix for these great products!

#Proganix Quench Hair Products

I was recently gifted with a beautiful boxed set of Proganix hair products, which was topped off with a pretty baby blue bow. The boxed set contained some great items for your hair, which was the Proganix Quench collection of products. Included were Shampoo, Moisturizer, Leave-In Moisture, and Moisture Balm.

Proganix Quench products are made to help your damaged or dry hair get back to it's healthy hydration. I was so excited to try out the products I received but first had so smell the wonderful fragrance of each of the hair products. They are made with coconut water and coconut oil so the scents are amazingly wonderful, like fresh coconuts on a tropical island. Don't you just love good smelling products!

The Proganix Quench collection includes electrolytes, which I didn't know anything about before. I learned that electrolytes are actually ions that are comprised of sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium. The electrolytes are tiny particles which replenish the hydration of your hair by carrying electrical charges.

Lately my hair has been rather damaged from the sun and getting highlighted quite often. It seemed like my hair needed some tender loving care so I couldn't wait to try out my products. First I started with the Quench Shampoo. The shampoo comes in a large 8.5 ounces tube with a flip top cap. It's really easy to squeeze the amount for your hair. Since my hair is on the short side, I don't require a big dollop, but just a dab. Like I said before, the fragrance is absolutely great, like freshly cut coconuts. The shampoo lathered up nicely and rinsed out thoroughly, leaving it squeaky clean.

After rinsing my hair I applied a small amount of the Quench Conditioner. This also comes in an 8,5 ounce tube container, as does the shampoo. I massaged it thoroughly onto my wet hair, making sure to get to the ends of my hair. You should leave the conditioner in your hair for a few minutes to make it work the best, which I did. Then I rinsed it and towel dried my hair. By now, my hair really was smelling so delicious, with all the fresh coconut goodness!

After towel drying my hair, I had another product to try, which was the Quench Leave-In-Moisture. This product comes in a 5.1 ounce pump dispenser which you can spritz on over your hair. I pumped a few sprays through my damp hair and thoroughly distributed it through my hair with my fingers. Afterwards, I blow dried my hair as usual. My hair was looking healthy and nourished already!

Last of all, I tried Proganix Moisture Balm which comes in a 6 fluid ounce pump container and is a rich creamy product. I pumped a tiny amount of the balm in my hands and rubbed them together, Then I just kind of styled my hair with my hands like I usually do. I was kind of worried that the balm might leave my hair with a greasy look, but that was not the case at all. It didn't weigh my hair down but made it more manageable and gave it a nice shine.

I'm very happy with the Proganix Quench line of hair products, They are something that I would continue to use to keep my hair looking good.
