Occasionally I have a small glass of wine when we have some of the family over for a holiday or birthday. We also use wine for cooking once in awhile to make some different types of pasta sauces that my daughter found the recipes for on-line.

In the past I've had bottles of wine that were so hard to get open with an ordinary corkscrew and it can be very frustrating. I always had to get my husband for assistance because it was too difficult for me to do. The Ozeri OW08A-G Fascina Electric Wine Bottle Opener and Corkscrew arrived the other day to help me out with this problem.

This wine opener comes in a lovely lime green color which is so beautiful looking (it even matches my walls). It uses 6 AAA batteries which are included, so there is no need to purchase them separately. All you do is unscrew the top of the opener to access the battery compartment.

I like that the Fascina is light and easy to handle, which makes it much more comfortable to use. Along with the wine opener you get a black foil cutter which fits in place on the top of the opener when not in use.

To remove a cork all you do is place the opener on the top of your wine bottle and push the black down arrow button. A tip is that you should keep the opener straight on the bottle and not have it tilted to work properly. 

As you activate the corkscrew the opener will go into the cork and remove it. Then all you do is release the button, pull the opener up off the bottle and your cork is removed. It's so easy that even I can do it! To remove the cork from the opener you just press the up button and it releases it. 

This is a neat gadget to have along with your wine supplies. You could even take it with you to a party and show it off to your friends.

The holidays are upon us and lots of gatherings will enjoy a glass of wine to celebrate! I've found a fun and nifty product from Ozeri to help you get those annoying corks out of the bottles which is the Ozeri Extravo Electric Wine Opener with Auto Activation.

The first thing I thought when I saw the wine opener was how sleek and futuristic it looked. It's nothing like a plain old fashioned corkscrew and so much easier to use. The Ozeri Extravo Electric Wine Opener with Auto Activation comes with a foil cutter which can also be used as a stand for the opener.

Before usage, it's recommended to charge the wine opener for about 8 hours with the adapter cord that is included. When the opener is fully charged it can be used for up to 60 bottles. So, the charge will definitely last for a while and won't need charging very often.

The Ozeri Extravo Electric Wine Opener with Auto Activation is so easy to use that even I can do it. All you do is place the wine opener on the opening of your bottle and hold it firmly, pushing down on the neck of the wine bottle. The corkscrew spiral activates and turns when entering the cork. When the cork is removed the pressure stops and you can take the wine opener off the neck of the bottle. After you lift the wine opener off the bottle it reverses the spin and your cork is automatically ejected.

A neat thing about the wine opener is the pretty blue lights that come on when you use it. It will impress your friends and family for sure! There's no batteries needed which is great in that you don't have to worry about batteries running down and it would be easy to take to a party or wherever you want!

I recently received a wonderful product from Ozeri, which will be coming in handy for the upcoming holiday season! I'm not one to indulge very often, but on special occasions a glass of wine is nice to share with relatives and friends. Using an old-fashioned cork-screw is hard on your hands and wrists, and is always so difficult to open a bottle of wine.

A great way to solve this problem is with the Ozeri Maestro Electric Wine Opener. I received this handy gadget in excellent condition and it came in a black gift box that would be perfect for your gift giving this Christmas!

This sleek looking wine opener includes a recharging base that opens up to 80 wine bottles on a single charge. It is recommended to charge the unit for at least 8 hours before using it for the first time. The LED charging light indicator will appear on the built in LCD, along with the room temperature lights. When all four bars remain on the LCD screen, the wine opener is fully charged. 

If you have a seal on your wine bottle you use the foil cutter which is included and place it on top of your wine bottle. Then you press inward and twist to cut and remove the seal. 

To remove the cork you place the wine bottle opener on top of the unopened bottle of wine. Then press the lower part of the button (down button) to remove the cork. Make sure to hold the bottle upright because if you hold it at an angle it won't remove the cork properly. 

After you have removed the wine opener from the bottle you can release the cork by pressing the upper part of the button. 

A great feature about this wine opener is that you can read the wine temperature, as well as the room temperature with its state of the art infrared non contact thermometer. This way your wine will always be served at the desired temperature. The built in thermometer displays the reading on the digital screen. I didn't have the wine opener fully charged but the room temperature still showed the temperature correctly.

I'm very happy with my new Ozeri Maestro Electric Wine Opener. It's a very modern appliance, is well made and looks very sleek sitting on a counter. It makes opening a bottle of wine more fun - especially at a party!  If you or someone you know is a wine connoisseur this would be a perfect gift!

After a long week (or day) it's nice to relax and unwind. Once in a while I like to have a glass of wine and enjoy the solitude. Sometimes I might even have two glasses, hee, hee. The only problem is that I'm always having a hard time getting the cork out of the wine bottle! It never fails whenever I'm trying to open a new bottle of wine. I'm usually calling my husband for assistance. It's time consuming and gets to be a pain. Who wants to spend their time trying to get a bottle of wine open when you could be drinking wine? Not me!

Well, I've found the perfect solution to my wine opening problems! I received a beautiful Ozeri Pro Electric Wine Opener the other day and couldn't wait to try it out.

My Ozeri Wine Opener came delivered in perfect condition and packed very securely. This is a beautiful and elegant wine opener indeed. I love the rubberized black feel of it which is so easy to handle. 

The Ozeri Wine Opener is nice in that there is no cord to plug in. It comes with a recharging base that has an LED charging indicator and opens up to 40 bottles of wine on a single charge. The red LED light changes to green when the wine opener is fully charged.

The wine opener has a single up/down button. To open a bottle of wine all you do is place the opener on top of a bottle of wine, press the lower part of the button and there you have it. An opened bottle of wine! To release the cork from the wine opener you press the upper part of the button. So easy my mother could do it, and she has arthritis. No more using a corkscrew and twisting your hands!

I like that the Ozeri Wine Opener also comes with some additional items including a compact foil cutter, pourer and stopper. I learned from Ozeri that when the wine travels through the pourer, it gets aerated before it reaches your glass. This improves flavor and bouquet. Now I feel like a wine connoisseur!

I love my new Ozeri Pro Electric Wine Opener. It doesn't take up much space on your kitchen counter and would especially look great on a bar. You'll be sure to get some compliments from your friends and family with such a neat wine opener.
