Cave Tools Barbecue Wing & Leg Rack

Do you like wings and legs (drumsticks) from chicken but always seem to get them burned or don't get them evenly cooked?  I found a neat tool that will help you cook them on the grill or even in the oven like I did.

This is a well made rack which will cook up to 12 wings or legs. You could even use them for thighs. The rack and drip pan are made of 100% stainless steel so they are excellently constructed.

Since my husband isn't into chicken I used the Barbecue Wing & Leg Rack to make some wings for myself yesterday. First of all the rack stands up and is locked into place with the legs that attach to it. So you don't have to worry about it falling down when using it.

All you do is place the wings between the slots and have the rack setting on top of the drip pan. I seasoned my wings with salt and pepper, plus some seasoned salt. You can use whatever you like and don't have to worry about your oven getting dirty,

My oven heats pretty hot so I just baked them at 350 degrees for about an hour or around that. It all depends how you like your chicken.

The wings turned out excellent and just perfect the way I like them. The meat was tender and the outside was crispy. The next time I make them I will put some chunks of veggies on the tray but this time I didn't. You could even collect the drippings to make gravy. My husband wanted me to make some potato salad so I was busy preparing that, which went well with my dinner.

I liked that the drip pan is deep enough with a lot of space for drippings. It collected the little bit of grease from the wings and left my oven clean. Afterwards, I just soaked the rack in some dish washing detergent for a while and it cleaned up well. It was nice that the stand or leg part of the rack was removable to wash thoroughly also. If you have a dishwasher the rack is safe for use in it too.

  1. That looks like a really fancy rack! That's neat you can use it in the oven too. I like that the fat drips off and that it's an easy clean up. We like potato salad in our house too!

    1. It really is a neat rack and very well made too! That's one of the things I like a lot about it also, the drip pan. I don't like any extra calories if I can avoid it.
