10 Romantic Ideas For Valentine's Day

As everyone knows, Valentine's Day is celebrated on February 14th every year. It's not necessary to get an expensive gift for the man in your life. There are many ways you can show your love by simple ways and not spending a lot of money. Here are a few suggestions to show your husband or boyfriend how much you care for them, without breaking the bank.

1. Make your own Valentine's Day card out of red and white construction paper and write what made you fall in love with him You could even make up a poem if you like.

2. If you have a fireplace, put a blanket and pillows in front of it for the two of you and reminisce about how you met and what you love about each other.

3. For breakfast, make pancakes or french toast and use a cookie cutter shaped like a heart to surprise him.  Have strawberry or raspberry sauce instead of regular syrup, with some fresh strawberries or raspberries on the side.

4. Purchase some fragrant body oil and give him a relaxing massage.

5. Prepare his favorite meal and turn the lights down low. Have lit candles on the table for ambiance and play some of your favorite music.

7. If it's warm where you live, go on a picnic together and pack a bottle of wine (or sparkling cider) with 2 glasses, cheese, crackers and chocolate covered strawberries.

8. Go for a walk on the beach or if it's too cold, just sit in the car and watch the waves and listen to some romantic music.

  1. These are all great, affordable ideas. My favorite one would be to look at the wedding album and remember all of those happy moments together. It's good to remind yourself of how you felt when you started.

  2. It is a nice way to go back and remember your special wedding day together and reminisce about everything.
