Coach - Season 1 and 2 - #Review

About Coach Season 1 and 2 From Mill Creek Entertainment:

Touchdown! Go for 2!
Go for 2 with the first two seasons of the Emmy-winning TV series COACH, starring Craig T. Nelson as Hayden Fox, the head coach of a university football team who eats, sleeps and lives football. His partner, however, does not share his passion for the sport, which frequently causes friction in their relationship. While Hayden often fits the stereotype of dumb jock (as do his co-workers Luther and Dauber), he sincerely cares about his friends and family, and tries his best to make things work out.
Starring: Craig T. Nelson (TV’s Parenthood), Jerry Van Dyke (TV’s The Middle), Shelley Fabares (TV’s The Donna Reed Show) and Bill Fagerbakke (TV's SpongeBob SquarePants)

My Thoughts: I remember watching Coach on television back when my husband and I were first married. It was a great comedy which was about a head football coach at a college, along with his co-workers and all their zany experiences. Craig T. Nelson portrays Hayden Fox, the coach and he is remarkably funny in this series. You may also remember him in the television series Parenthood. Jerry Van Dyke portrays Luther, one of his co-workers who I really enjoy also. I remember him on the old Dick Van Dyke Show in the 60's. He is the brother of Dick Van Dyke and is so goofy and hilarious. Bill Fagerbakke portrays Dauber and if you watch SpongeBob Squarepants, you'll recognize his voice. That's because he is the voice of Patrick the star fish. Also in the series is a favorite actress of mine from a classic television series, The Donna Reed Show, which is Shelley Fabares. Shelly portrays Hayden's girlfriend and as the series progresses, becomes his wife. I'm enjoying watching this show and remember how funny it was.
You can get the Coach combo which includes season 1 and 2 at Mill Creek Entertainment for $14.98. It is available on DVD.
