Repair Your Hair With ~ Joico K-Pak Color Therapy Luster Lock ~ #Review #hairjoi

Sun and heat can wreak damage on your hair. I'm not complaining, I love summer but you have to protect your hair (and skin too)! Besides the hot summer sun, we women unknowingly wreak havoc on our hair with color, blow dryers and straighteners. Let's face it, split ends and hair that feels like a bale of hay doesn't make you look good or feel good about yourself either.

Recently I received a surprise gift box from the friendly folks at Joico. This is the first time I had tried any product from Joico so really didn't know what to expect to be honest. First, the Joico K-Pak Color Therapy Luster Lock comes in a 4.7 fl. oz. flip-top tube which is easy to use and dispense. It smells really good too!

All you need is to apply a small dab if you have shorter hair (like I do) to your freshly washed damp hair and thoroughly distribute it - from roots to the ends. If you have long hair you may want to use a little more. Then leave it in for 3 to 5 minutes. Afterwards, thoroughly rinse your hair and style as usual. It can even be used to give your hair an extra boost of therapy by applying to your hair before shampooing.

The formula that it includes is called QuadraBond Peptide Complex - which includes tropical sounding Argan Oil and African Manketti Oil. This repairs your damaged hair and seals the outer layer to help keep your color vibrant. Some of the other effective ingredients include seaweed extract, soy, and silk to keep it smooth and prevent further damage to your hair.

My hair looked more nourished and healthier after only one use. It was touchably smoother and not as dry as it had been feeling. What's nice about this product is that it can be used by all color treated hair - whether you have blond or brunette color. You don't have to worry if you have fine or thick hair either, because it's great for either type.

Along with the gift box I receive a cute necklace that looks like a key with a gold chain which is so delicate and lovely. It even came with a velour draw-string bag to store it in, which was a nice touch. Also I received a "Joiful Little Secrets" journal which has a black cover and blank lined sheets to write on. I'm going to have to start writing in my new journal. I haven't done that for many years!

If your hair is in need of a little TLC you might want to check out some of the products at Joico for yourself! They have a wide variety of other products to choose from that I'm sure you'll find something for your hair needs.

Disclosure: I received free gift box from Joico for review purposes and all opinions are my own.
