#Proganix Quench Hair Products

I was recently gifted with a beautiful boxed set of Proganix hair products, which was topped off with a pretty baby blue bow. The boxed set contained some great items for your hair, which was the Proganix Quench collection of products. Included were Shampoo, Moisturizer, Leave-In Moisture, and Moisture Balm.

Proganix Quench products are made to help your damaged or dry hair get back to it's healthy hydration. I was so excited to try out the products I received but first had so smell the wonderful fragrance of each of the hair products. They are made with coconut water and coconut oil so the scents are amazingly wonderful, like fresh coconuts on a tropical island. Don't you just love good smelling products!

The Proganix Quench collection includes electrolytes, which I didn't know anything about before. I learned that electrolytes are actually ions that are comprised of sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium. The electrolytes are tiny particles which replenish the hydration of your hair by carrying electrical charges.

Lately my hair has been rather damaged from the sun and getting highlighted quite often. It seemed like my hair needed some tender loving care so I couldn't wait to try out my products. First I started with the Quench Shampoo. The shampoo comes in a large 8.5 ounces tube with a flip top cap. It's really easy to squeeze the amount for your hair. Since my hair is on the short side, I don't require a big dollop, but just a dab. Like I said before, the fragrance is absolutely great, like freshly cut coconuts. The shampoo lathered up nicely and rinsed out thoroughly, leaving it squeaky clean.

After rinsing my hair I applied a small amount of the Quench Conditioner. This also comes in an 8,5 ounce tube container, as does the shampoo. I massaged it thoroughly onto my wet hair, making sure to get to the ends of my hair. You should leave the conditioner in your hair for a few minutes to make it work the best, which I did. Then I rinsed it and towel dried my hair. By now, my hair really was smelling so delicious, with all the fresh coconut goodness!

After towel drying my hair, I had another product to try, which was the Quench Leave-In-Moisture. This product comes in a 5.1 ounce pump dispenser which you can spritz on over your hair. I pumped a few sprays through my damp hair and thoroughly distributed it through my hair with my fingers. Afterwards, I blow dried my hair as usual. My hair was looking healthy and nourished already!

Last of all, I tried Proganix Moisture Balm which comes in a 6 fluid ounce pump container and is a rich creamy product. I pumped a tiny amount of the balm in my hands and rubbed them together, Then I just kind of styled my hair with my hands like I usually do. I was kind of worried that the balm might leave my hair with a greasy look, but that was not the case at all. It didn't weigh my hair down but made it more manageable and gave it a nice shine.

I'm very happy with the Proganix Quench line of hair products, They are something that I would continue to use to keep my hair looking good.

Disclosure: I received free products in exchange for review purposes. However, all opinions expressed here are my own.

  1. Mmm, I love hair products that smell like coconut. My hair is very dry and frizzy and I could definitely use these products. I have never heard of moisture balm before, but it sounds like something I should try. I like the box it came in.
