A while back I had the pleasure to review 50 Mystery Classics and 50 Dark Crimes Movie Packs from Mill Creek Entertainment. It was so fun and suspenseful to watch the movies from way back when. I was excited to say the least when Mill Creek Entertainment contacted me again to review one of their latest movie pack sets!
It was hard to choose but I finally decided on the 100 Greatest Cult Classics Set. This is a 25 disc set with over 140 hours of run time total. That's a lot of movies! It comes in a special side by side packaging which is pretty cool too! The genre of these films is horror and they are rated R. I'm sure you will be familiar with a lot of the stars and co-stars such as Warren Oates, Richard Burton, Jack Palance, Rock Hudson,William Shatner, Carroll Baker, Glenn Ford, Johnny Cash and lots more.
I had so much fun watching some of these cult classic movies. Do you remember the old drive-in movies? You may not be that old but I remember going to them years ago. It was great going to a drive-in and getting to just sit in your car to watch movies on a giant screen outdoors with the speaker hanging on your car door window.
These wonderfully strange and freaky films brought back some memories of my youth for sure! There are so many favorites but one of mine was 'The Creeper' which stars Hal Holbrook. It is a nightmarish film about five doctors who go camping and get stalked by a crazed killer. Sounds great, right?
