First Spring Flowers
I just looked outside today and saw some beautiful color! My purple crocuses popped out among some brown leaves and my husband said they were already out yesterday! They are a sure sign that Spring is really here and warmer weather is coming our way. I'm excited to finally have winter be over. It seems like we've been hibernating forever!

It has been a long winter and today hubby was outside doing some yard work. He raked some dead leaves around the yard from last fall and trimmed a few trees also. There are also some other flowers popping out of the ground which are daffodils. They won't bloom for a little while and are white and yellow in color. Isn't Spring wonderful! Below are the daffodils.

Those purple flowers are beautiful! As soon as I'm doing making pancakes for the week, my son and I are heading out to do yard work also. With our recent rains, lots of weeds have popped up.
ReplyDeleteThanks Brenda! Yes, spring is finally here, although it is still cold and windy here. Can't wait to go outdoors and not have to wear a coat. Those weeds never stop growing though, do they.
