Amara Organics Retinol Serum ~ Review

Amara Organics Retinol Serum is a great anti-aging serum that is helpful for your skin in so many ways. Retinol repairs your skin on a molecular level and and speeds up skin cell turnover. It's known to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It is also good for improving skin pigmentation and is an effective acne treatment by preventing dead skin cells from clogging pores. If that's not all, it fades acne scars and is known to make your skin more elastic.

I've become more concerned about what I put on my skin. Who wants nasty chemical leeching into your pores, right? Well, this retinol serum really delivers. It is made with natural and vegan ingredients, and they use the best plant-based ingredients available. The company states that it's safe for all skin types, even if you have sensitive skin and you can also use it around your delicate eye area. That's probably because there is no harsh chemicals in this serum and doesn't include alcohol or parabens.

Here is a full list of the ingredients from the company:

Deionized Water, Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf (Aloe), Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide (Botanical Hyaluronic Acid), Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel), Pentylene Glycol, Phospholipids, Retinol, Polysorbate 20, Potassium Phosphate, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Carrageenan Gum, Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba Oil), Triticum Vulgare (Wheat Germ Oil), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Organic Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea), Wildcrafted Resina Propoli (Propolis), Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Ethyl Hexyl Glycerin, Organic Gotu Kola Extract, Organic Horsetail Plant Extract, Organic Geranium Extract, Organic Dandelion Extract.

The serum comes in a 1 fluid ounce pump dispenser. It's a light gel-like substance which is so easy to use. All you do is pump a squirt or two and  you have enough to cover your face and neck area. It spreads easily and absorbs pretty quickly. If you've never used retinol before it is recommended to use every other night for the first couple of weeks until your skin adjusts to it. Also you should wear sunscreen when using it since it can make you burn.

I haven't had any redness or irritation with it at all and am pleased with the retinol serum so far. It's only been a few days so far but my skin has more of a healthy glow to it already. The Amara Organics Serum is a product that I would continue to use. I'm looking forward to more great results in the future.
