My thoughts:
It seems that whenever my husband or I am looking for a flashlight in our home that they aren't quite bright enought for what we need. Like a couple of weeks ago, my husband was working under our sink on the water purifier system that was leaking. He couldn't really see what he was doing with our old flashlight and it got kind of frustrating. The 3-in-1 Cree LED Flashlight would have been perfect for him because it is so nice and bright. It would also be great for emergencies like when the power goes out occasionally.
I love how heavy duty this flashlight is and not some cheaply made device. It has three different light options. The 1st click turns on the top/front LED light. Then you have the 2nd click which turns on the 18 white LED's located in the barrel/shaft. After that you have 3rd click which turns on the red blinking LED lights.
A great feature with this flashlight is the magnetic base which you can attach to something metal (like the car) when you need two hands to work. This would be great to keep with you in your vehicle. My daughter is moving and I'm thinking of getting one for her to keep in her car for an emergency.
All in all I think this is a great little flashlight which can be used for so many things and is something that is a must in any household.
