100% Plant Based Konjac Sponge Infused with French Green Clay by Oleavine ~ Review

Since I'm always trying out new beauty products I was excited to try out the 100% Plant Based Konjac Sponge Infused with French Green Clay by Oleavine. Wow, that's a mouthful alright! 

I don't know if I'm one of the rare ones, but I have never tried a sponge to cleanse or exfoliate my face before. It came in a beautiful looking box and was also separately packaged in cellophane.

I was wondering how this would work since when you receive it the sponge is hard. Well, after you rinse it in warm water the sponge gets nice and soft. To use you don't even need any other cleanser because it works great just by itself. I couldn't believe how wonderfully gentle it felt on my face and wasn't irritating at all.

The teardrop shape is great in that you can get around the delicate areas of your face. When you are finished using it gently squeeze the water out with your palms. Don't wring it out because it could damage the fibers. Then just hang up to dry with the little string which is attached.

I love this Konjac Sponge! It makes my skin thoroughly cleansed deep down in my pores and is so soothing to use. It's nice to know that it does not have any nasty chemicals in it either. If you want to sanitize it you can put it in a microwave for a couple of minutes. Also it is recommended to replace every two to three months or after it starts to break down. Since it is 100% biodegradable you can even plant it in your flowerbed when you finished with it.
