I was so blessed to get the opportunity to review the JVC Everio GZ-HD300 60GB High-Def Camcorder, a 60GB hard drive HD camcorder available in red, blue or black.
I got the blue model, and have really enjoyed filming hither and yon. The JVC Everio GZ-HD300 60GB High-Def Camcorder is small and lightweight. It can be easily managed with one hand.
Right when you open the viewfinder, the camcorder turns itself on and you simply press “record” to start filming. That makes it really useful for capturing those unexpected moments that present themselves when I am out and about with the kids.
I also LOVE that the JVC Everio GZ-HD300 60GB High-Def Camcorder can hold 25 hours of video footage on the hard drive. That is really incredible and gives me the freedom to film to my heart’s content, even on an extended trip.
The JVC Everio GZ-HD300 60GB High-Def Camcorder is easy to use, but in case you need help there are JVC Everio Tutorials on YouTube.
This camcorder records AVCHD files for high definition, so any video editing software that you hope to use needs to be up-to-date and able to recognize AVCHD files.
