Ozeri BP4M CardioTech Premium Series Digital Arm Blood Pressure Monitor #Review

Ozeri BP4M CardioTech Premium Series Digital Arm Blood Pressure Monitor with Hypertension Color Alert Technology

It's a good idea to keep track of your blood pressure occasionally. Even if you've never had trouble in the past it's good to keep an eye on it. Sometimes you won't even know it and your blood pressure can be high or even too low which can cause problems that nobody wants.

I've got a thing with "white coat syndrome". I think everyone has heard of that and if you haven't then you're pretty fortunate. When I go to the doctor (or dentist) it makes me anxious and in turn, my blood pressure goes up. It's not a good situation, because when I find out it's high it makes me more anxious. My doctor told me to check it at home to see how it is when I'm relaxed, so a good blood pressure monitor was needed. Besides me, my husband has high blood pressure and takes medication but wants to start checking it at home to keep on track.

I received the Ozeri BP4M CardioTech Premium Series Digital Arm Blood Pressure Monitor with Hypertension Color Alert Technology which came just in time to start keeping track of our numbers.I'm not a real techy type of person so was happy to find that this monitor is really easy to use.

First of all the monitor comes with 4 AA batteries so you're all set to try it out right away. They are easily inserted by sliding the battery cover off. To use the arm cuff all you do is insert the air plug into the air jack of the monitor. Place your arm through the cuff, making sure that the tubing is positioned in line with the middle of your inner forearm. Then pull the velcro flap up and over the arm cuff. You can use either your left or right arm for measurement, with the same process.

To take your readings it is recommended to rest your arm on a table and make sure that the cuff is at the same level as your heart. My husband sat in his recliner and put his arm on the arm rest and it worked fine. Also make sure that there are no kinks in the air tubing so you don't have any restrictions in the airflow. The monitor can be used with three different people and can be set to show the date and time of their recordings.

The monitor is able to store 1197 blood pressure readings (399 x 3 users) and has an advanced hypertension indicator which shows systolic and diastolic readers.

Green - Indicates a normal blood pressure level
Orange - Indicates pre-hypertension
Red - Indicates hypertension

We love the Ozeri BP4M CardioTech Premium Series Digital Arm Blood Pressure Monitor with Hypertension Color Alert Technology. My husband's reading was accurate and at the normal level so he was pretty happy about that. Now it will be my turn to try it out next!

When you get to be a certain age like me you like to keep track of your blood pressure readings. Sometimes when I go to the doctor my blood pressure gets a little high (from white-coat syndrome) so once my doctor recommended me to take it at home occasionally to keep tabs on it. That's why I was excited to be able to try the Ozeri BP5K Digital Blood Pressure Monitor with Voice-Guided Positioning and Hypertension Indicator recently.

This is an attractive little blood pressure monitor indeed! First it comes in a sturdy plastic case and includes an instruction manual which you can easily store in a drawer or cabinet and takes up very little space. It also includes two AAA batteries which are installed on the back of the unit to get you started right away.

The Ozeri BP5K Digital Blood Pressure Monitor with Voice-Guided Positioning and Hypertension Indicator displays your blood pressure reading with a large LCD screen that is easy to see. Even with my glasses off I could read the numbers clearly. It can be set to store up to 180 readings for 2 different users. You can also set the time and date for it.

The velcro strap goes on nicely around your wrist and is very comfortable. When you are taking your blood pressure there is a pleasant voice that tells you if your arm is in the correct position. My husband wanted his blood pressure taken right away when I took it out of the box to check it out so I let him use it first. He sat in a chair and I pressed the middle start/stop button to start the unit. The voice told him that his wrist was a little low so he raised it and then the voice told him that his wrist position was ideal. This means that your wrist is level with your heart and the device will begin and start to inflate.

After the reading is shown the unit automatically deflates and that's it. So easy that even I can do it! The unit will even automatically turn off after two minutes if you do not turn it off with the start/start button. My husband's reading was a little higher than he usually has at the doctor's office, so he is going to make sure to keep track of it from now on and compare with his next doctor's appointment.

Disclosure: I received complimentary sample in exchange for a product review. However, all opinions expressed here are my own.

MeasuPro BPM-20A Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor ~ #Review #MeasuPro

Product Description:

MeasuPro helps keep you focused on your health by providing you with the tools you need. Using advanced technology, the MeasuPro Digital Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor provides accurate measurements of your blood pressure and pulse rate. Measurements are taken through an automatic, fast and easy process using Measure and Inflate technology. The pressurized arm cuff auto-inflates with the touch of a button and automatically releases the pressure when the measurement is complete. This MeasuPro Digital Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor features a bright LCD display with separate touch buttons for each individual user. It features a unique desktop design so you can easily store this device in your home or office. The BPM80A records up to 120 blood pressure readings, 60 readings per user, with date and time memory recall. Graphical readings are classified in five different levels and color coded to represent the reading's level of hypertension. It also calculates and averages your blood pressure based on the last 3 readings and detects irregular heartbeats and any arrhythmias. Arm cuff fits upper arm circumference of 23-32 cm. The MeasuPro blood pressure monitor ships with 4 AAA batteries (included), medium to large sized arm cuff, carrying bag, and user manual. 2 year manufacturer's warranty included.

My Thoughts:

Whenever I go to the doctor my blood pressure is a little higher than it should be but that's because I get nervous just going to the doctor. Still, I like to keep an eye on it at home to make sure it's alright and not too high. We have an old fashioned monitor that is about 20 years old so I was excited to  try out the MeasuPro BPM-20A Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor.

This is a very modern blood pressure monitor which is so easy to use, that even I can do it. It comes with 4 AA batteries which is nice so you don't have to go out and buy batteries right away. You just insert the batteries on the bottom of the unit and replace the cover to get started.

You set the date and time on the monitor before using it so that a time stamp can be assigned to each record that is stored in the memory. It's really easy to do and they have the directions to follow with no problem. When you have the settings ready you put the cuff on your upper arm. It fit great on my arm (snug yet comfortable) and I had extra room to tighten it.  It also fits my husband's arm which is a lot larger than mine.

Make sure to position the tube off center towards the inner side of your arm, Once again, the cuff should be snug but not too tight. The monitor records readings for up to two different users. You just press User 1 or User 2 to take your blood pressure, It's that easy!

I found the reading to be accurate in comparison to my normal readings. The numbers show up bright and are easy to read on the large display screen, The monitor will automatically turn off after 1 minute or you can press the user button or MEM button to turn it off.

I like that the MeasuPro BPM-20A Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor can record up to 120 readings, with 60 readings per user. This is nice so you can keep a record to see how your blood pressure fluctuates.

I'm very happy with this monitor and would highly recommend it to anyone. It's easy, fast, and you get accurate readings! The desktop design also makes it really easy to store in a cabinet.
