The Andy Griffith Show - One Of My Favorite Shows From Childhood

I'm sure every body has seen The Andy Griffith Show.  If not you should.  I used to watch it when I was little at home and it's still as funny now as it was then.  I think most people still want their home town to be like this.  It was simple and had ordinary people on it that you could find in any town.  In most shows there was a lesson learned.  There was always a lot of love and goodness that you could feel which made it so homey.  You could tell that the characters weren't fake acting and actually were having a good time and enjoyed each other's company. 

I loved each and every character in the show - Andy, Barney, Aunt Bee, Opie, Floyd, Helen, Thelma Lou, Goober, Gomer, Otis and so many more that appeared on their shows.   They all seemed like a great big family and had fun at what they were doing.  To me this show is real comedy, not like most of the stuff they have on today.  My kids are in their twenties and they think it's a funny show today.  This picture is of Andy Griffith with the bronze statue depicting Opie and Andy at his home town of Mt.
