Homemade Baked Chicken Strips

Here's a recipe that you and your kids may like. They taste much better than the frozen ones you can purchase and are very easy to make.

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp. dijon mustard or more depending on your taste
4 to 5 chicken breasts cut in strips
1-1/2 cups Italian bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Combine mayonnaise and honey mustard in medium bowl.  Add chicken to mixture to coat.  Mix bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese and roll chicken in crumbs.  Arrange on ungreased baking sheet.  Bake at 400 degrees about 15 to 20 minutes or until starts to brown.

This picture is before they were baked.  Everyone ate them too quick when they were done so I didn't get a picture afterwards:)

  1. That looks like a lot of chicken! Good thing everyone ate it all! The pan looks like a really nice sized pan too. I like making our own chicken strips too because they're much healthier.

  2. Yes, my family really likes them so much. I should make them more often. You're right, homemade chicken strips are a lot healthier than the pre-made ones you purchase in the store. That's neat you make your own also!
