We are in November but have had a nice warm fall so far. I don't think the plants know what's going on because some of my flowers look like they want to start growing just like they do in the spring. I always have cosmos come up by themselves from the fallen seeds and they are growing. The mums still look nice but some of them are starting to dry up.

Yesterday I got a package with the Prosyner Professional Quality Bypass Pruner Shears Set of 2. When I opened the package the first thing I thought was that they looked like sturdy quality items.

The larger pruner has nice comfortable handles that include a black rough-like coating on them which makes it less likely to slip out of your hands when using. They include a black notch mechanism that you push up to use.  Then when you are done you push it back down to keep them closed and locked together.

The smaller pruner is a cute little tool to get some of those smaller plants you need to get at. It has a different type of black coating on the handles which are smoother but make it nice to get a grip on when using. This pruner has a black notch that you can push down when you want to use it and then push it up to hold it together and lock when not in use.

My husband and I went outside and tried out our new pruners, trimming some of the roses that have dried up. We used the larger ones on the rose branches since they are thicker to cut. You could also use them on bushes or small tree branches. After that we then tried out the smaller pruners for some of the mums around our house.

Hubby and I both thought the pruners worked well and had a nice clean cut. They were easy to use and didn't hurt my hand when using them. A handy tip we learned from the package was to apply some oil or type of lubricant to keep them in good working order. Also to always keep them clean and dry before putting them away.
