Ozeri OWO5A Prestige Electric Wine Bottle Opener with Aerating Pourer and Foil Cutter ~ Review

If you haven't heard of Ozeri before, they are an emerging brand in the consumer marketplace. I have reviewed quite a number of their amazing products before, and am always impressed with them. They also have wonderful customer service and are a pleasure to work with.

This time I was excited to  review the OW05A Prestige Electric Wine Bottle Opener with Aerating Pourer and Foil Cutter. As with all Ozeri products, the package arrived very securely and came in great condition.

This is a beautiful looking product, which makes opening your bottle of wine a snap. Before using it I charged the wine opener for about 12 hours. There is a red LED light on the base that flashes which tells you it is charging. When it's fully charged and ready to use the light will change to green.

First of all I used the  foil cutter which was included to remove the seal. The wine opener is operated with an up and down button. All you do is place the wine opener on top of the bottle of wine and press the lower button to remove the cork from the bottle. Make sure that your bottle is upright as possible other wise it will not remove the cork properly.

You will know that the cork has been fully removed when the motor has stopped. Then you press the upper part of the button and it will release the cork from the wine opener. So easy that even I can do it!  It's so much easier than using a manual corkscrew, and I don't get pieces of the cork broken off and floating in the bottle,

Along with the wine opener and foil cutter, you even get an aerating wine pourer. To use all you do is insert it into the neck of the wine bottle and pour into your glass. As the wine travels through the pourer, it will be aerated before it reaches your glass. This reduces the time need for the wine to breathe.

I love how elegant this appliance looks. It would be perfect on a bar counter top and would be a great gift for a wedding, birthday or for yourself!
