20 Mule Team Borax Review and Giveaway

I have always wanted to try 20 Mule Team Borax and didn't really know anything about this product.  Do you know what Borax is?  I didn't either!  20 Mule Team Borax is 100% natural mineral from the earth.  When it is removed from the ground it is washed, dried, and boxed for consumers like you and me.

Borax is the common name for sodium tetraborate which is a naturally occurring substance produced by the perpetual evaporation of seasonal lakes.  Is anything added?  No, absolutely nothing is added.  No phosphates, chlorine, or any other additive chemicals.

I received a very nice box of 20 Mule Team Borax to review and was pleasantly surprised at how it worked.  Where I live our water is hard and leaves soap scum on everything!  Did you know that hard water affects laundry?  When you add detergent to hard water, some of the compounds attach to calcium and magnesium granules that settle on the bottom of your washing machine, eventually retreating down the drain without actually cleaning your clothes.  That makes a lot of wasted laundry detergent.

To boost your laundry detergent, simply add 1/2 cup of 20 Mule Team Borax to every load, along with your regular detergent.  It naturally softens the hard water and improves your detergent's cleaning power.

I tried this method to a load of my bathroom towels and it really turned out to be a positive experience.  My towels seemed to be more fresher, cleaner, and even fluffier!  They even smelled better to me.  When my family took a shower they also commented how the towels seemed to be cleaner and fresher to them.

After washing towels I used 20 Mule Team Borax on my bathtub and shower and it really did clean the soap scum and got it cleaner.  I just sprinkled some in the tub and used a cloth to scrub the grime away.

If you would like to learn more about 20 Mule Team Borax, which I'm sure you do, just go right here now! You'll find out about so many other ways to use this fabulous product, such as cleaning in the kitchen for dishes, pots and pans, sinks and more!  It can also be used as a dishwasher detergent booster and in your carpet steam cleaners.  Pet areas can be cleaned with 20 Mule Team Borax to keep them odor free.
