Pastry For One Crust
One 9" Pie Shell
1/2 Cup Sugar
3 Tbsp. All Purpose Flour
1/4 Cup Honey
1/3 Cup Heavy Cream
4 Cups Tart Apples, Peeled, Cored and Cut in Thick Slices
1/2 Tsp. Ground Cinnamon
1/4 Tsp. Ground Nutmeg
1 Tbsp. Butter
Roll our pastry and line a 9" pie pan. Make a fluted edge. Sprinkle bottom of pastry shell evenly with 1 tbsp. each of sugar and flour. Combine remaining sugar and flour; stir in honey and cream. Pour mixture over apples; mix gently until slices are well coated. Spoon into pie shell. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg; dot with butter. Bake in a hot oven 375 degrees or 350 degrees depending on your oven about 45 minutes or until apples are baked.
