Back in the 80's, everyone I knew owned a pair of what is now called the original Flojos (seen left). They were the must have sandal of the summer and were very "Californian." These are sandals that men and women could both wear and they were so comfortable. The original Flojos sandal was a rubber criss-cross sandal borrowed from a traditional design from the Mexican culture. I remember that they did give you some funny tan lines. While they are functional and still worn today - Flojos now offers some of the most fashionable sandals for beach and street wear.
