Trying to take a babies temperature can be really difficult. I was always told that they only way to get a really accurate temperature was to take the temperature ”you know where” - in the bum. Well, I can tell you all, that I have not tried this method yet, and now I have no need to. There is a better way to take your child’s temperature that does not include sticking anything into any orifices, which makes temperature taking super easy.
The Exergen Temporal Scanner has made my life a lot easier when trying to take Genevieve’s temperature. I always used to try taking her temperature in her arm pit. If the thermometer made it’s way up to 99 degrees, I knew that the fever must be a little bit higher, but I could never be quite sure how much higher.
